Our Centre
Our Centre was founded by Dr Nikolaos Kostopoulos in 1999.
It is located in Kifissia, a northern suburb of Athens about 45 minutes from the airport. The Centre is adjacent to the Syggrou park and is surrounded by fig and citrus trees. It has a beautiful view of the mountain of Hymettus.
The Centre is also used to host Open Talk lectures on Ayurveda conducted by Dr N.G. Kostopoulos and Yoga classes.
Dr N.G. Kostopoulos
Dr. Nikolaos Kostopoulos was qualified at Athens Medical University, Greece. He worked in the Renal Unit of the Naval Hospital in Athens, in the Intensive Care Unit of the Hospital of Chest Diseases in Athens and in the Respiratory Unit of the Manchester Royal Infirmary in England.
He established the Holistic Health Centre in Athens in 1999.
He is a member of the Faculty of Homeopathy in England and of the Hellenic Homeopathic Association in Greece.
How it all began
Dr. Kostopoulos was introduced to Ayurveda by Vaidya Asvin Barot and, in collaboration with him, he practiced privately in Harley street in London (UK) for 10 years combining Ayurveda and modern medicine.
